Saving a Life in Challenging Circumstances

MSV is proud to highlight how our construction and expertise have helped CDR. One recent new report in particular illustrates how their mobile clinic operations stand as a testament to resourcefulness and determination.

On the night of Tuesday, September 5th 2023, a Steinhatchee man arrived at the CDR mobile clinic experiencing severe chest pain. Quick-thinking nurses swiftly assessed the situation and determined the patient was having a heart attack. Poor weather conditions at the time prevented immediate airlift, but the CDR team, in collaboration with the EMS team, performed a crucial 12-lead EKG, ensuring prompt diagnosis and initiating emergency care. Following this treatment, an ambulance carried the patient to a local hospital where he later recovered.

According to initial reports, the male patient returned to CDR’s mobile clinic site following his recovery where he expressed his gratitude, saying “Thanks, you saved my life!”
